Social Media Specialist
(Hybrid Work/Home Position)
Responsibilities
- Content Creation:
- Develop and curate engaging content (text, images, videos) to align with the brand's voice and marketing goals
- Create and manage a content calendar for regular and timely posts
- Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly to foster a community
- Engage with followers and influencers to increase brand awareness and loyalty
- Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop social media campaigns that support broader marketing strategies
- Identify emerging trends and innovations in social media to integrate into the brand’s strategy
- Brand Consistency:
- Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand’s identity and messaging guidelines
- Maintain consistency across platforms in tone, style, and branding
Job Requirements
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their best practices
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
- Knowledge of content creation tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
- Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Creativity:
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills to produce engaging posts, graphics, and videos
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication for creating clear and engaging social media content
